GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, October 15, 2020 – In the last month, an additional Sustainable Development Goal has been added to the list of UNSDGs to which Sucafina contributes to the supply chain. This now brings the number to 13 - out of 17 UNSDGs.
As part of our carbon footprint assessment and our commitment to reducing its environmental impact, Sucafina has started the decarbonization of its energy system through the installation of solar panels at Rwacof’s coffee mill – our sister company in Rwanda. By doing so, we are now ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy - SDG n°7.
