At Sucafina, we are passionate about supporting women into leadership, decision-making, and business – one of the key action areas of International Women’s Day (IWD) this year. 

Today is UN World Soil Day, dedicated to highlighting the importance of soil and water in our agrifood supply chains. This year, we’re focusing on our partnership with Koerintji Barokah Bersama Cooperative and Rikolto, supporting farmers as they create healthier, more profitable and more sustainable coffee farms. 

Today, October 1, is International Coffee Day. It’s an opportunity for coffee lovers around the world to share their passion for coffee and acknowledge the work and support of millions of coffee farmers, as well as all of the people involved in producing, trading, retailing and serving coffee. 

Sucafina is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partner, Kahawatu Foundation. Initiated by Sucafina in 2013, Kahawatu is now an independent foundation dedicated to improving the livelihoods of coffee communities in East Africa.

Sucafina has joined the International Labour Organization’s Child Labour Platform The platform brings together businesses, governments, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to share best practices and coordinate collective action to eliminate child labor, particularly in supply chains and communities. 

Sucafina is proud to share its 2022 sustainability report, 'Making an IMPACT'. The report provides updates on Sucafina’s progress toward its Sustainability Strategy and on its numerous projects and programs around the world – most notably, the launch of IMPACT, Sucafina’s responsible sourcing program.

Sucafina's IMPACT Program has been recognized by the Global Coffee Platform as equivalent to the Coffee Sustainability Reference Code, 2nd party assurance. This recognition provides confidence that IMPACT coffee is produced and processed in accordance with global sustainability standards.

April 22 is Earth Day – an important day that raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations. This year’s theme is Invest in Our Planet.

Water is not only essential to life but it’s a human right and a vital resource. Conserving water resources is one of the main goals of Sucafina's Sustainability Strategy, and on World Water Day, we're highlighting projects that are protecting, purifying and democratizing safe, clean water.
