Today, we’re celebrating the first graduates of Sucafina’s IMPACT Ambassadors Program. 15 members of our Trade, Finance and Origin teams successfully completed the 1-year program, which equips participants with the skills and confidence to drive forward IMPACT and our other sustainability initiatives.

Sucafina’s purpose is to create opportunities to improve lives. That’s why we are delighted to share a project implemented by our instant coffee team to expand a school in Rwanda’s Eastern Province. By addressing issues like classroom overcrowding, the initiative is enhancing the quality of education for students at the school.

Sucafina is pleased to announce that it has successfully secured a two-year extension on its flagship Sustainability-Linked Senior Secured Borrowing Base Facility. Commitments for the US $700 million Facility were received from a globally diverse group of European, American, and Asian banks.

Sucafina is delighted to announce that it has joined the Swiss Sustainable Coffee Platform (SSCP), a multi-stakeholder initiative launched this week with the aim of promoting sustainability in the global coffee value chain.

Sucafina is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partner, Kahawatu Foundation. Initiated by Sucafina in 2013, Kahawatu is now an independent foundation dedicated to improving the livelihoods of coffee communities in East Africa.

Sucafina has joined the International Labour Organization’s Child Labour Platform The platform brings together businesses, governments, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to share best practices and coordinate collective action to eliminate child labor, particularly in supply chains and communities.
