August 19, 2025 – At Sucafina, protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees is an integral part of our culture and a major focus of our Caring for People sustainability pillar. In this article, three employees who work within our Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) program share insights into their roles and responsibilities and Sucafina’s approach.
EHS is a key component of Sucafina’s broader Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) that focuses specifically on protecting people and the environment. The ESMS brings structure, accountability and adaptability, guiding how we identify and respond to the most pressing challenges, from climate risks to human rights. The multi-level governance model of the ESMS ensures that both local insight and global strategy inform our actions.
