GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, May 12, 2022 – Sucafina is proud to announce that we have won the 2022 Overall Commodity Finance Deal of the Year Award at TXF’s Perfect 10 Deals of the Year Awards in Commodity Finance, held in Amsterdam this week.
The awards were announced during the TXF Global Commodity Finance 2022 event, which took place on May 10 and 11 at the historic Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Export finance industry experts came together to celebrate the achievements of the sector at an awards dinner.
Sucafina was delighted to win the award for the successful closing of a US $500 million two-year sustainability-linked senior secured borrowing base facility.
Nikola Stojanovic, Acting Treasurer at Sucafina SA, attended the event to receive the award on behalf of the company. He also took part in a workshop about digital transactions, including the role of digital agents and the benefits they can bring to commodity finance.
This was made possible thanks to the whole Sucafina team, as well as our partners, including Komgo, the trade finance digital platform that acted as the digital agent, and ING Bank, who led on the facility.
