INTERVIEW WITH NHAN NGUYEN

  1. What was the most valuable lesson you learned during the Spark Program?

The Spark Program taught me the importance of emotional agility. Being a leader is not being emotionless, but knowing how to understand our emotions, gain insights, and align our actions with our values brings the greatest strength to reach our full potential.

  1. How has Sucafina enabled you to grow both personally and professionally?

Sucafina
provides a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning. I've always had opportunities to take on different roles or to engage in diverse projects with encouragement and support in every aspect. At Sucafina, we always hear: the sky is the limit.

  1. What are you most proud of in your time at Sucafina?

I take pride in contributing to Sucafina's commitment to create opportunities to improve lives. Being part of initiatives that promote diversity and seeing positive changes in our workplace and industry is truly precious.

A particularly proud moment of mine was being selected for the Spark Program. Standing out as one of only nine individuals shortlisted from a pool of hundreds of talented employees is a true reward for my hard work and dedication.

  1. Who are the female figures that inspire you in your career?

My greatest inspiration in my career journey and also my life is my mom.
At 17, she made the bold decision to join the military. Throughout more than 30 years and now, when she is retired, she has always been resilient, kind, and with a commitment to excellence, and has shaped my aspirations and motivated me a lot to push any boundaries.

  1. What advice would you give to women who want to work in your field?

Be passionate, stay curious, and do not underestimate the power of your unique perspective. Your voice is never too
small and diversity of thought is the key to innovation.
